
Stellenbosch Hospital
The hospital traces its roots to the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, which began serving the Stellenbosch community around 1904. By the 1930s, population growth put pressure on its capacity. This led to fundraising and efforts to build a larger facility. In 1944, the new Stellenbosch Hospital officially opened (formerly the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital).
