We Care

MISSION...

.”to provide equitable access to quality health services within a balanced and well-managed health system to the people of Stellenbosch

BRIEF HISTORY

The hospital traces its roots to the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, which began serving the Stellenbosch community around 1904. By the 1930s, population growth put pressure on its capacity. This led to fundraising and efforts to build a larger facility. In 1944, the new Stellenbosch Hospital officially opened (formerly the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital).
